Final report of "FACES for Japan"

blancdesign had drawn 129 people's portraits and raised around 750 pounds for 3 months (from March to May 2011).

【Final report of raised donation money through "FACES for Japan" project.】

from 11-04-2011 to 18-05-2011：70.67 GBP = around 9,190 JPY

from 21-03-2011 to 08-04-2011：181.59 GBP = around 24,830 JPY
from 16-03-2011 to 18-03-2011 : 165.97 GBP = around 22,470 JPY
from 21-03-2011 to 25-03-2011 : 265.00 GBP = around 35,870 JPY (This includes donation from Nottingham Trent University Decorative Arts 3rd year cake sale group : 135.37 GBP = around 18,320 JPY )

All donations were collected, counted and sent to the British Red Cross "Japan Tsunami Appeal" by Nottingham Trent University Student Union (☆ by Ayako GORTON, the person in charge of Pray for Japan Charity Event at Derby).

Table top : Acrylic board (8mm thickness) with acrylic resin drops ×2
Shock sensors ×5: put table top
a pressure mat : on the floor
electronic circuit boards for shock sensors - Ultimarc IPAC - Soundplant39 on MacBookPro - loudspeakers ×2: inside the table

※I recorded these videos and sounds with a compact digital camera, so quality of microphone is not good. Real sound is better than on these movies.

2011-05-19 : Polyester resin was put on bottom sides of the table top acrylic boards. In addition, surface sides of the table top were sandblasted when polyester resin dried.
